The year 2000 started with the album "Matti Caspi - Duets", an album that symbolizes "the implementation of mutual collaborations between performing artists as it should be", according to Caspi. Among the participating artists: Aviv Gefen, Have Alberstein, Rami Kleinstein, Shoshana Damari, Eti Ankri, Dani Litani, Yehudit Ravitz, and more. Matti reveales that this has been his dream "to work with fellow singers and letting their individual personalities take over in the recording studio, so that I'll be adapting my style to theirs'. It is not only my satisfaction, but also the significance of working with artists that I had never worked with before. Which means that one can do great deal with a song, not just settle with its familiar interpretation. The music is free for use by additional people."
